Below are some of videos that I made for my students over the past few years. The production value is not great and there’s no audio but nevertheless, I believe that some students have found them helpful. All the drawings and paintings are done from life. The photos of the subject that appear occasionally in the videos are there to give an idea of what was in front of me. The paintings are also worked on in the studio away from the subject from memory and usually upside down to clarify the statements and to allow me to react to the painting on purely formal grounds. Hence you will see the paintings upside down for certain periods of the videos.
